Discord Stuttering

Moved over today and Discord seems to be stuttering/hanging so on some occasions the voice detection (automatic or manual) gets stuck for brief periods resulting in me either cutting out or the mic being active longer than intended
Solution:
Yeah definitely not a CPU/Memory issue. Maybe start discord from the terminal and see if you get any useful error messages when it stutters flatpak run com.discordapp.Discord

For context, OBS seems fine and seems to be perfectly responsive as do any recordings I make but Discord seems to be taking the brunt of it

Might be worth running Mission Center (gui app) or btop (from the terminal) and seeing if there is a run away process using very large amounts of RAM/CPU

Nope, seems to be fine For context, I'm on a Ryzen 9 7900X3D and 48GB DDR5@700mhz

Also Vesktop is Discord; I tried Canary Discord and Vesktop to not much avail

Since I'm using flatpack Vesktop, I should probably run flatpack run dev.vencord.Vesktop right?

Something else to try would be to check if it's a network (or wifi driver issue). Try connect via ethernet and see if that makes a difference.

I'm on Ethernet

@wolfyreload So update after using it for a few hours, it seems to be working when I run it through console, specifically the canary version which won't come as a surprise for different reasons I'll keep that in mind for now until the update goes through to the flatpak store(? I think we're waiting for that)

That's kind of annoying that it works when you launch it from the terminal and not the UI. I see that from the launcher it runs the following, maybe the extra parameters does something weird but everything looks pretty normal
/usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=com.discordapp.Discord --file-forwarding com.discordapp.Discord @@u %U @@
