Valve Index Audio Output Issue

Hey! I installed Bazzite a few days ago, and am having an issue with my Valve Index on Bazzite. The headphones are not being detected as an audio output device, and do not show in the sound settings in plasma. I've made some progress in figuring out how to get sound to play through the Index headphones correctly. I have found that if I first start SteamVR, I can get a hardware device number using aplay -l, which lists the Valve Index as
card 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: HDMI 0 [Index HMD]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: HDMI 0 [Index HMD]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
I am able to get the headphones to play the 'front left', 'front right' test audio with speaker-test -Dhw:1,3 -c2 -twav, but have not been able to find a way to get the headphones to show up as a device in the sound settings, and output system audio through them. Additionally, neither the microphone or headphones can play a sound without SteamVR running, but I'm not sure if that can be fixed. I have tried plugging the index into different displayports as well with no changes. I tried using the SteamVR stable and beta branch with no difference between the two except some tracking related things. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated! Was able to fix by changing the profile on GP104 High Definition Audio Controller to Pro, which made more devices named GP104 to appear, one of them being the Index headphones.
