EAC error 30005 startservice failed with 1275

I've had this issue for a while with the EAC that I never got around to debugging or fixing until today. * I've tried deleting the entire battlebit EAC directory, uninstalling the game and reinstalling- even verifying integrity of files on Steam. * went to windows core isolation section and found Kernel Mode Hardware Enforced Stack Protection turned off, which should have fixed the problem, but it persisted. Also found out that I can't turn it on because EAC has an outdated driver that's not compatible with it. * found out that Revo Uninstaller can't see Easy Anticheat as an application to uninstall. * clean booted my PC with all non-MS services disabled and ran EAC, still same error message. * disabled Bitdefender, still same error message * disabled MSI Afterburner & RTSS, still same error message * updated windows, still same error * updated PC system drivers, still same error * updated Steam library, Epic Games Launcher, Fortnite, & MS Apps library, still same error * disabled Steam overlay, Discord overlay, & Nvidia overlay, still same error can i get some help?

updated windows, still same error
specific updates are also causing this error to happen, look for KB5045934 and KB5044376 and if they're present try deleting them
found out that Revo Uninstaller can't see Easy Anticheat as an application to uninstall
EAC does not get registered as an application in Windows, in order to completely reinstall it you might want to use this batch script

* Tried using default windows update history to uninstall, won't let me. * tried using CMD [ADMIN MODE]: wusa /uninstall /kb:5044376 /quiet /norestart cmd returns to new line, but does nothing, unresponsive

that's unfortunate you could still probably delete update package from winPE using DISM one thing i am sure of that it'll be fixed once update comes out but unfortunately i don't have ETA for it

If i may add as i also have this issue. This is tied to EAC not playing nice with Windows 24H2 update (Windows 11). I had to uninstall all updates related to this Windows update and was able to play again. However I now BSOD everytime I exit stating StopCode. Only way this can get around completely without going back to 23H2, is to wait for the devs of BattleBit to update to the latest EAC drivers as other more popular games have done so already.

i know that windows updates have been all over the place, but i wish i could get some official acknowledgement that the issue is being worked on. battlebit is/was one of my only 2 favorite PC games... :/

only consistent fix for this issue is updating EAC module that we'll perform with the game update
