Bottom panel only shows application launcher until I open an application
Running Bazzite 41.
It is hard to get a screenshot of this but when I first turn on my computer only the application launcher will show in the bottom panel until I actually open something at which point the panel expands to show all of the applications I have pinned to it and the widgets on its right side. In a way it is kind of cool but not sure why it is doing this. For all I know I changed some setting to cause this that I don't remember. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

could you share a screenshot?
if I'm not wrong, I have this kind of issue but only I use two commands to restart the desktop environment (plasmashell)
Is there a keyboard command for grabbing a screenshot?
printscreen key on your keyboard
oh of course lol
it should automatically launch your default screenshotting tool (spectacle app on KDE)
(you can simply open the app manually as well)
And because I opened spectacle it then expanded.
alright I think it has to do with this setting, I have it too
KDE Plasma seems to be a little bit buggy with it, but it's odd that in your case, it happens at startup too
I suggest that in edit mode, you: delete the panel, add the default one again, and put the width setting again
to see if the issue persists
@Dre
@δDD setting the width value fixed it. I more than likely changed that to fit content at some point and forgot. Thanks for helping with this!
you're welcome!
