Anything else part of your skincare routine? I’m far from an expert but sometimes an exfoliant or finishing with a toner before you moisturize can help clear things up.
The obvious recommendation is that a dermatologist will be your best bet but I know that isn’t always easy or realistic.
i thought salicylic acid was an exfoliant
if it's a big bother to u you'll probably benefit from a full blown skincare routine but this really ain't the place for that advice unfortunately
the skincareaddiction subreddit has some decent starter lists, worth checking them out if they're still around
im honestly trying to get consistent with a full routine but like the blackheads are really bothering me
i feel like moisturizing and using sunscreen (obviously) doesn't do anything for them
and i just have insane sebum buildup
the salicylic acid doesnt do much
i have the mario badescu glycolic acid toner but that doesnt do much either
like i said, check out r/skincareaddiction's starter guides, or just buy a cosrx starter kit and use it till it's gone, if it works for you then buy the full sized versions of each item.
ther really isn't a single item you can use to make blackheads disappear tho, you have to treat the entire ecosystem.
check out skincareaddiction, consult a derm, change your sheets more often, etc
the best thing you can do is just see a dermatologist
if will save you so much headache and they'll probably give you one prescription like a retinol that you only have to refill every 3 months and that will make your blackheads go away
