Battery Indicator not showing accurate battery levels.
Hardware:Lenovo Legion Go
Issue: upon a fresh install of Bazzite, my battery indicator does not accurately show the percentage of battery left before needing a charge within gaming mode. The side menu just displays the battery level as full and charging, however this is after some time and not being plugged in via the ac adapter. When swapping to desktop mode the battery indicator says it’s “plugged in” when it is not but it does display percentage level there. Is their anyway to fix this issue and have the battery percentage displayed in gaming mode?

is your bios updated?
back when the LGO was first released, the battery indicator in gaming mode was broken for a while, until a bios update fixed it.
Thank you I’ll need to try this today, in order to check the bios for an update, will I need to go into the boot/bios menu on startup?

But you should first check your bios version. For all we know, you're on an updated bios, and you're seeing a genuine bug
You can see bios version in steam system settings
Thank you, I’ll check my current bios version in a few hours and report back!
It might be my BIOs my current bios I have installed is N3CN28WW and the latest release is N3CN35WW. I’ll try the above to get the updated BIOs going and will see if that resolves the issue.
Look's like updating the BIOs worked! thanks!
just out of curiosity, did you update the bios via the method in the ublue post?
i've personally never tried it, but apparently others say it worked fine
Yep! I followed the steps in the Ublue post you shared, and they worked to T.
nice, good to know
I’ve noticed a lot of users being affected by this who use other devices. Would updating the bios also be something they should consider?
hrm, not necessarily the same problem on other devices. Probably doesn't hurt to try updating the bios, but there's no guarantee that it's the same issue
That makes sense, I figured it’d be a long shot but was curious.
