Installed Epic Games through Lutris, no controls work, and other problems.
I feel like the process was straightforward.
I booted to desktop mode, set up Lutris, installed the Epic Games Store app (as Lutris told me to do), signed into Epic and installed a few games.
Now, whenever I run an Epic Game a few things happen:
- Controls don't work in the game. I can use keyboard controls, but that requires manual rebinding for every game, even games that support Controllers by default won't work as a controller. It's like no inputs happen unless it's a keyboard/mouse input.
- When I leave the game, I get sent back to the Epic Games Store app (even though I didn't launch the game through it) and the EGS app is flickering nonstop and unusable (I can use the touchscreen to click the "X" and leave though)
Someone help me understand where I went wrong.

I did just verify that one of the games works fine with the controller, but only if I'm in desktop mode and launch the game from Lutris.
I would use heroic launcher for epic games
Just because it's absolutely meant for this purpose
OK but Lutris is also meant for this and comes pre installed on Bazzite.
Not really, it's not a replacement for the epic Game store like heroic
We would ship heroic, but my opinion is that nobody uses the epic game store so it's not worth the storage space to ship to everybody
I would recommend you try heroic and not use Lutris. I'm not interested in providing support for Lutris in this case when other tools do it better
