I kinda tried everything*
change from nvidia
I'll admit I haven't tried that.
But I've configured nvdia a long time ago and never touched it again.
Any reason the resolution on this specific game would have change suddenly ?
well windows is weird so are games sometimes and we also do some settings which affects other environment
Yeah I see
But wait
how do I change the resolution for a specific program with nvdia control pannel ?
wait

I got no idea T_T
that's also part of why I'm so confused

?
nope
whats ur monitor full name
it's a samsung odyse g4
24"
240 hrz
doesn't change anything
found a way
u have two monitors right
yes
With Valorant not running, hit the Windows key on your keyboard and type in "Device Manager" and open it. Then, hit the drop down arrow for your monitors. There should only be one option in this drop down, click it once to highlight the item. Then at the top click "View", then click "Show hidden devices". Delete all of the other items that show in the list that are not highlighted by right clicking each item and clicking "uninstall device". After doing that, right your monitor currently in use and click "Disable device". This will not prevent you from seeing anything on your monitor. From what I can tell, it changes nothing.
what person on reddit did
and it helped him
By disabling your monitor in dvmgr, it allows Valorant to correctly do what it was trying to do in the first place without it outsmarting itself.
Okay, give me a minute

So I have those two
both have same name xd
unplug the one monitor
so it only shows one
but wait
Yeah ok
but
before doing that
which one should I disable ?
the main one ?

is that turned on or off
it's off
hhhhh
unplug any

aight
so i only have my main one
disable it
done
and now I just start the game ?
now do the next step here
Open Valorant, if the video still looks wonky, go to your video settings and change it from full screen mode to windowed full screen, then back to full screen again. This is what I need to do every time I open Valorant, however it is the only way I can get it to display at both the correct resolution and aspect ratio
where's that "view" you're talking abt ?
let that part
dw abt it
do this
yay, it worked
weird tho
but it works
thx a lot
yeah
also u can do one more settings
