main issue with mega.nz is the end user limitation of like 6 gb every 4-6 hours

depends, if you have a pro tier then you should be fine it's not something i use as frequently anymore but that's how it used to be

I recommend explaining the usage of this, one time file sharing or perhaps you want it there for a while and multiple downloads

Self hosting https://filebrowser.org/ is free and will let you do as big of a file/size as you have space for, and does unprotected and password-protected file sharing

Thank you I’ll look into it Multiple downloads preferably. I’m trying to upload my servers world folder since I’m going into a new season and some players want the world

quick tip btw, you can use a tool like mcaselector to prune chunks that players didn't spend a long amount of time in. That should be able to significantly reduce the filesize of the world

Personally I self-host Pingvin for this

It looks like Pingvin is a pretty good solution for sharing files, while Filebrowser is more of a general-purpose web-accessible file explorer that happens to have sharing capabilities. That said, I might end up self-hosting Pingvin now too, it looks like it has a very nice, simple UI
