Hello, I have some issue with the usb
Hello, I have some issue with the usb connection.
The following error message is displayed: “Power surge at USB port - unknown USB device requires more power than the connector can provide”
Does anyone have any idea where the error is?

Do you have anything else connected to the FFB board other than the USB cable?
Motors and potentometer. But I try with disconnecting motors and grip. Same thing.
Is it the first time you connect it ? Can you disconnect everything other than the USB ?
Yes, first time. I have disconnected all. But no change.
Do you have a multimeter, can you do a few basic continuity checks? I'll guide you if so
Btw does the board shows any signs of like - like beeps, LED blinks etc ?
I'm on my way right now, would like to test it tomorrow. Can you give me an introduction.
As soon as I plug in the usb, the green LED lights up and a beep is heard. A short time later the error message from Windows comes and the led goes out. If I unplug and put it back in, it works again. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter
I have a multimeter and could take measurements
So I have found out that if I wobble on the usb port (connection to the FFB), this error occurs. I suspect a fault with the USB port. I'll take a closer look at this tomorrow. There may be a short circuit or a broken cable. Then get back to me tomorrow. Have a nice evening.
I took a closer look at the USB socket. There seems to be an electrical short circuit. I saw it flash. I'm going to buy a new USB port. I think that will solve the problem. I'll let you know if it still exists.
