Ghost of Tsushima crashes in Game Mode
1. When launching Ghost of Tushima while in game mode, SteamOS locks up the machine requiring a force reboot.
2. When launching from desktop mode, a popup appears with the message "No installed graphics card has been detected"
- Once that message has been closed, the game loads normally.
- The display settings in the launcher show the Intel B580.
GPU - Intel Arc B580 12GB Limited Edition
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7600
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36
Motherboard - MSI MPG B650I EDGE

that's odd
what is the output of
switcherooctl
?
what bazzite image?im going to say there is a small possibility this might be a b580 issue
i dont own the game so i cannot verify. but b580 has lots of weird little issues right now
see #Intel ARC (Battlemage) testing (give yourself the contribute role in <id:customize> to see the channel)
I knew it, I searched intel GPUs reviews on the game's protonDB page, and there was none
its just a guess from my side since i got a b580 myself and have been doing testing on it
just not run into a game that broke it that bad yet :clueless: but since it works in desktop mode i think its an issue with gamescope+b580 considering any mouse movement locks up gamemode right now until a few seconds after you stop moving the mouse (on the b580)
dang
I can vouch for Ghost of Tsushima working fine on AMD, I beat the game very recently on my Bazzite devices
If you press enter on the keyboard while locked up in Game Mode, it comes back. Seems that it might be more of a SteamOS issue not handling the popup.
no popups when youre on the gamemode home screen and just move the mouse 😅
