Unable to access desktop mode
Hello!
Since the most recent update two days ago, I cannot boot into desktop mode. I am on bazzite gnome with game mode on a steam deck oled white.
It can play games, but when I select switch to desktop, it simply shows the game mode splash screen and returns to game mode.
Also since this update, the grub menu for selecting old entries is no longer present. I do not believe I described the grub visibility.
I’m not sure what to do other than wait for an update to go through in game mode.
Thanks.

I just tried resetting all bios settings to defaults but no luck.
Tried both holding and tapping shift during boot to show the grub menu but no luck.
I ssh'd into my deck from another pc and was able to run an rpm-ostree rollback.
Problem is not resolved, but I have a workaround for now. I'll try to update again in a few days and see if the new patch works.
I know it's arrogant to have an opinion on this, as I'm an outsider, but this seems like a good reason to not remove the grub menu, as I would have been able to work around this in seconds.
I wouldn't say that is an arrogant opinion at all. I think you can you can still unhide the grub menu with
ujust configure-grub
and unhide. It is also supposed to show if you have trouble booting. So you can force it to show if you press CTRL+ALT+DEL while Bazzite is starting up (haven't tried this but I think that's the way it works).as of 1 hour ago you can configure-grub again on stable
Thanks y'all!
I'm not sure what was wrong but I did find a solution
Solution
dconf reset -f /org/gnome/
Ran this and it fixed the issue immediately.
