What’s most versatile color for suede jackets?
I'm thinking about adding a suede jacket as a key piece in my wardrobe, but I'm uncertain which color would complement my outfits. I have black and khaki trousers, along with light wash and medium wash jeans, plus a lot of black jeans. What color would be the most versatile? I'm considering olive, but I already have an olive jacket that I wear quite often. What do you all suggest? I'm a brown guy with black hair.

in a vacuum, the aforementioned olive, black, khaki, navy, really most neutrals
versatility doesn't exist in a vacuum and isn't a mathematic formula in practice (especially since you didn't include things like what shirts you wear)
you might get an even better answer by including pics of your outfits or people dressed like you (check #waywt or #inspiration or pinterest or instagram if need be)
When I think suede jacket I automatically picture one that's in the beige / tan / light brown / sand sort of colour spectrum
All versatile by means of being the sort of 'default' colour for suede
Even though a black suit jacket isn’t very versatile, I think black might be a good answer because it tones down the bold statement that suede naturally makes. Obviously it depends on the details (see comment above about the vacuum). But maybe I’m swayed (yep) by this fit from the inspo chat that I’ve always wanted to copy
I'm gonna disagree with everyone here and say dark brown. It's a common color for suede shoes for a reason. It would work well for a suede jacket, too. I can't imagine it not pairing fairly well with all the stuff you mentioned.
i would say any earthy color. moss green, dark brown, tan, etc
