General Feedback and Advice

Hi so I'm Rub and I've been really into fashion for some time now, I live in Spain and go to university so I can't be spending a lot of money nor time on high fashion, I usually thrift, buy on sale or maybe buy some basics on fast fashion. For the last like 6 months I've been trying to elevate my style with the pieces of clothing I own, Ive had some (I would say somewhat good) results in building an style that is both variable and mine with a soft-alt-grunge twist. I would like to have some recomendations in what pieces to look into now and what recommendations I should have, I'm gonna tour my style a little bit for that. If you want to see more examples of this my ig is rubmv_ I really like to use some baggier jeans, I dont have pics of my shoes but I tend to go with Converse or Vans, I was thinking about saving for some Dr.Martens since they are really expensive but I thinik they would go with my style. I like to have my body be part of the fit in some way, either through showing skin and my tattoos or through proportions, thats why I like to have high rise jeans and to play with volume with some baggier jackets or with my green sweater I customized. Thats also why I usually wear belts. I like to wear hats bc they help me on bad hair days, this is really good for me since it helps me be able to only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week which is best and still look cool. I think I've only showed on pics my black cap but in my ig I have some other caps I use like a Kuromi one, a Sonic one or a beige one for when I dont want the cap to be the statement piece. Idk what else to say, I can answer any question if it can help me have a better style :)

Sounds like you already have a pretty good idea of what you like, do you have any areas that you specifically want to improve?

I think like you mentioned Doc Martens would go well with your style. In the UK at least they can be found really cheap on Vinted and ebay.... or maybe you'd have some luck looking for a similar style from a Spanish brand like Camper for example

If you save this search and put a filter on your sizes might be able to grab a good deal

tbh I just want to go better in my style, I think its pretty good but I would like little details or things people can see on it, general feedback. I'm continuously trying to improve and look at some pieces in a different way (for example I took the umbreon jacket in pic 3 and played with it bc I had it as a leftover piece from 2016 when I was more of a Otaku and didn't care as much about how I looked) I like feeling overdressed and stylish while comfy and it being a style I can replicate in a daily basis so just wanted opinions :) thats a good Idea, I will look into it :)

I feel like you‘re on a good way already. Developing personal style is a lot of trial and error, your wardrobe kind of curates itself as you go. So there isn’t really a single right answer to improving one’s style For Inspo and new ideas I really recommend Pinterest and also engaging with people in the community (so basically being active in the server in this case)
