I wonder how people are using twitter rn
I double checked everything and it still doesn't work
Are you using it for X Ads? Had the same mistake myself; it just doesn't do X Ads conversion reporting. I checked the managed component and it seems to indicate its just an example filter for embedding tweets. https://github.com/managed-components/twitter (see bottom of Readme "This Managed Component only supports the display of the tweet’s text, account and profile information, date and time, as well as likes, replies, and other engagement metrics. ◊")

Oh ew
I dont need todo that I need X conversion tracking
Why does Zaraz hate us 😂
I wish cloudflare invested more into this project rather than just acquire it
I fell back to using GTM for X Ads for now -- working well client-side. Might have to build a component, but don't exactly have the spare time. Component development here seems to be halted pretty much, most not updated since last Jan, nothing new since launch. I am guessing they hope to see an open source community pop up to fill that void? 🤷♂️
Really don't want to fallback to GTM, feels pointless to use zaraz
@agoralex Do you know a reference tool we could look at to potentially build our own?
that github repository has all the current components. I built one quickly to call Slack webhooks on certain events (so I can debug real traffic). It's pretty easy
https://developers.cloudflare.com/zaraz/advanced/load-custom-managed-component/ has some ok docs on getting started

Zaraz supports loading custom third-party tools using Managed Components ↗. These can be Managed Components that you have developed yourself or that were developed by others. Using Custom Managed Components with Zaraz is done by converting them into a Cloudflare Worker running in your account.
any competent JS dev should have a better time at it than I 🙂
I got interested in how much they are investing/plan to, so searched their job opening onsite and in google for anything that even mentions zaraz, and nada. https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ajob-boards.greenhouse.io+cloudflare+zaraz. Tried a few other terms like "managed components" with nothing to speak of. Seems strange for a new product -- sure are many AI platform jobs. Maybe it's buried in a team that I cannot suss out.
Edit: probably lives in a group like this ETI group which seems all about workers (the platform on which zaraz runs) https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/cloudflare/jobs/5823943
thank you
@yo'av any plans in the works for a Twitter/X Ads pixel component, as part of the current "Twitter" component or a separate one?
@yo'av ^
Are there any plans on adding support for enhanced conversions for Google Ads?
