techwear
what are good techwear brands that people follow? there are probably many and this is a broad question, so broad answers welcome. i dont know what represents the peak and the midrange, and what kind of material experimentation people do.

Really good resource set up by the techwear community
Tried to find a spreadsheet of brands but cant seem to find it, so ill also recc a few of my favourite brands
Goopi, hamcus, acronym, south2west8, nike acg, gramicci, and wander , cav empt
It’s helpful to acknowledge there are a lot of different tech wear styles like the more outdoor oriented gorpcore where brands such as And Wander, Ar’teryx, Goldwin, Marmot, Nanamica, Nike ACG, Outdoor Research, Patagonia Snow Peak, etc fit. Then there’s the minimalist oriented greyman where Bagjack Golf, Lululemon, Mission Workshop, Outlier, Veilance, Western Rise, etc fit the bill.
The list goes on and on but this Reddit thread is super helpful if you want to dive deeper 😎

I feel like you wear Stone Island Shadow Project too
Like @Mosh, some of my fav tech wear or adjacent brands are Arc’teryx Veilance, Goldwin + Goldwin 0, Nonnative, Outdoor Research, Stone Island Shadow Project, and Tilak.
thanks! appreciate it
will check out these resources
You’re welcome and good luck bro 🙏🏽
Oh, I forgot A-COLD-WALL* still exists, the new stuff is nothing great, but theres a bunch of older stuff out there using some crazy construction and materials
i’ll check it out, but i wasn’t very impressed with the stuff i did check out. i don’t think i personally understand the aesthetic - the brand that everyone seems to like on reddit and online is acronym but their stuff came off very mall-ninja-ey and not practical
i looked at hamcus and similar sentiment there
veilance and the other minimal techwear brands seemed too bland
i think so far my favorite is stone island cause they have stuff that i could see myself wearing (balance of pop and wearability) while having cool materials
I saw a lot of stone island in Korea so seems pretty practical
