I am trying to make a community server, and I would really need some help with the bot, as I would like messages where ayako greets new members and so on. I will take all the help and tips possible! thanks for reading

Hi there, Ayako has welcome settings (located at
/settings automation welcome) where she can greet newly arriving members of your server.
It allows for a completely customized message embed, and pings for roles or users to greet the arriving member.

is it possible to connect ayako with twitch and/or YouTube so when I would upload an video it gets posted on the server?
no ayako doesnt provide these kind of notifications

is it by any chance possible to make custom messages so people ho read the rules? and that they have to verify that they read the rules?
you can send embeds through ayako, yes. The command for it is
/embed-builder create and was introduced to you in the welcome youtube tutorialthe thing us I tried those embeds but I didn't work I think

it's hard to explain, I followed the tutorial, step by step, the embed just didn't do what is should do following the tutorial, I know it's nothing to work with, maybe I am just not seeing something important
There is a different way you can build embeds involving https://discohook.app/
On that website you can fully customize your embed
When you're done customizing it click on
Options and JSON Editor
Copy the whole block of code
Go back into discord and type /embed-builder create
Then click on Inherit with code and paste your code into the modalDiscohook

there is an question that I have about all bots that re used on a server, can normal members, wich can type and send images like use bots and technically ban/kick others?
on properly developed bots ban and kick commands should only be accessible to members with these permissions or manually permitted members
so if I gave a role the permission to warn they couldn't kick?
warn isnt directly linked to a permission because its not a discord feature
if you want to customize what permissions which users can use you can go into
/mod permissions and split the commands you want to customize into their own sub-commands by pressing the corresponding buttons
(in your case warn and kick)
then go into your server settings > integrations > ayako
and modify the permissions of /warn and /kick so that only the users/roles you want can access them
this is what that overlay looks like
however this is only accessible via desktop im afraid, blame discord for that
as I am currently using ayako and dyno- as I intended not to give anyone permission of that I technically just don't have to do anything about it then? no one can abuse bot commands to control the server?

i dont know a lot about dyno as i prefer to use ayako for everything :Kappa:
and no, you wont receive a warn for talking about other bots. I like recommending bots that do dedicated tasks well enough for me not to make my own version
