Creating an SRV record

Hey yall, I have a nextcloud server installed at home and till now i have accessed it using the tunnels in zero trust. The tunnels limit me with the max upload size and since it is running on port 50042 i need to put the port after the domain which i dont want. So i tried to make an srv record to redirect it but it doesnt work. I also have an srv record for my minecraft server and that works just fine. so whats the issue

SRV records are protocol specific, and HTTP does not support them. I'm not sure if its available on all plans, but perhaps an origin overwrite would work here?

If you overrode dest. port to 50042 then you'd need 50042 but worth pointing out
The tunnels limit me with the max upload size
The dest. port override only happens for proxied connections (that go through CF), you can't have proxy enabled or you'll hit the max upload size

oh yeah... the traffic goes thru cf one way or the other, tunnel or proxy damn thats bad i dont wanna change the dns provider lol

I mean you don't have to do that, you can just unproxy, and avoid max upload size, but you'd have to put the port, or just move home assistant to anothrt port

ikr, but i have the HA setup for my father and he wants it specifically on port 443 i told him i might need to use it for my projects since I pay for the IPv4. I told him i could set it up for him so it resolves a different port oh well i got it working pretty easy fix lol
