Installed in basic graphics mode

So I have an ancient video card, a Gt640 2gb(I know laugh it up XD). The current drivers no longer support my card, so I was forced to install with basic graphics mode. This prevented the installer from installing the video drivers I think. Hardwareprobe says "nvidia (from 304.135 to 470.63.01)" should support my card. I'm pretty sure i was in the 400's in windows(could be wrong). Is there a way to install these drivers? thanks!

I'd give Linux Mint a go on that machine. You should be able to install older drivers (they have a wizard for it). The issue you'll run into though is that your card probably won't work with Vulkan (which you need to for the steam compatibility layer) but you'll be able to play some games that have native linux ports (albeit very old games). Since this is a Bazzite specific help thread, that's as far as I can go with advice for that setup.
