Some games appear squished on screen after subsequent launches

Hi everyone, new to Bazzite and Linux PCs in general although I have been using a Steam Deck and a Raspberry Pi over the last year so I've come to have some experience with tinkering through terminals and the like. I'm running Bazzite Gnome on an AMD card and processor. After having launched Marvel Rivals and The Finals for the first time, adjusting the games to the resolutions I want, when I launch the games next time they appear completely squished. Unable to read anything on screen I have no choice but to delete the config files so next time I boot the games I just have to readjust those settings again. Helldivers 2 doesn't give me this same issue but oftentimes the mouse in game doesn't allow me to click on certain parts of the screen. Adjusting the resolution and applying seems to fix it. For Rivals, a separate window called OpenGL Renderer remained open for the duration I was in the game, and the game itself appeared squished. I don't know if the window setting for each game may be the culprit (full screen, borderless, etc.). Rivals won't let me change the resolution unless it's in full screen, Cyberpunk wouldn't fill up the whole screen on borderless if I chose below the monitor's native resolution. Some of these games also defaulted to a resolution way higher than my native 4K. Once again, I'm fairly new to debugging issues for my system, but I'd be happy to get some guidance on identifying the causes for these problems.
