what colours you suggest are most universal for combining? black/beige/green?
yes
black less so but all of them are fairly neutral colors, especially if you're pairing them with other neutral colored pants
thinking to match with these pants or even more beige, should be easy to combine sweats+pants
Both knit (merino) or cotton piquet should work fine, both tucked and untucked. Alone or under a blazer, I'd go for creams/browns but also blue, denim, green, burgundy... lots of choice.
any more thoughts?
Also something like this? Like a mock turtle neck (merino, not ribbed like this).
