Installing Piper on Bazzite - libratbag

I'm trying to install Piper to be able to configure and rebind the buttons on my logitech g502. Install was successful from the software centre however upon opening its asking to update libratbag to the latest version. I understand Bazzite is immutable - is there anyway to manually update librratbag to allow Piper to function? The command listed on the git (dnf install libratbag-ratbagd) returns the following: Note: This system is image (rpm-ostree) based. error: "libratbag-ratbagd" is already provided by: libratbag-ratbagd-0.17-7.fc41.x86_64. Use --allow-inactive to explicitly require it.

Our copy of both piper and libratbag is what is available from Fedora's repos if they aren't new enough, you'd need to build them yourself or find a copr
