UEVR on Linux: Game doesn't start
Hi there! First time here and complely new playing Satisfactory. I've found the amazing UEVR plugin and wanted to try it, but it looks it doesn't work on Linux. I didn't try on Windows because... well, I don't have any windows PC :D.
I'm able to run the game without the mod, even if when other mods are activated (I've just tried with SML and a random mod I found on SMM), but as soon as I run the game with UEVR, it fails while the game is being open (black screen with SATISFACTORY logo and the grey spinning circly, see the image included in this report).
I can also share the logs of the game when it fails (I'll try to do that in this thread)
I would also like to thank @Dortamur for his amazing work. I would understand if you don't feel like fixing the issue in Linux given I could be probably the only crazy person trying to do that! But in case you can, I'm happy to provide as much help as I can.
Happy new year everybody!

As soon as the black screen with the SATISFACTORY logo is opened, the log is printed up to the following line:
Then it stays there for a while (maybe 1 or 2 mins) and it continues with
After that, as shown in the log, the game is closed.
Hooking issues can probably be solved by a restart of your computer or a verification of game files. Also make sure your mods are all up to date.

triggered by @GonzaloBefore I forgot, some people were able to run UEVR in linux. For example, see https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality_linux/comments/18vxkc3/psa_praydogs_uevr_injector_can_work_on_linux_too/

@Gonzalo - you are not the only crazy person trying to do this! 😆
If you're in the flat2vr forums and join #sf-join, here's a message and thread from someone else investigating it: https://discord.com/channels/747967102895390741/1247514744542335006/1315815022093537311
Even on Windows it's better to inject UEVR after loading a save game. From your description it sounds like you're injecting earlier than that?
Does the game run fine with the "UEVR Enhancements" mod installed, if you don't inject UEVR?
I'm afraid UEVR injection issues are largely outside my skillset at the moment, so I don't have any current solution for supporting Linux at this stage.
