very slow website when proxy on

hi, my website becomes insanely slow and lags when the cloduflare proxy is turned on. i checked my cache settings as well, and they seem to be fine. i really need the proxy to be on tu serve files via cloudflare workers. this is my website: https://blip.fashion (proxy tuned off)

Please remove your email, it is PII and we can't have it on public forums + you will get spam from people/scrapers

As for your question, I'd start off checking https://blip.fashion/cdn-cgi/trace - what does that show? Then go to https://cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace and send that too

So looks like you're being routed from India to Germany That'll definitely incur some perf, especially the more blocking requests being made

not just my isp, every isp is slowing this down

India routing is unfortunately not great. If you can, you could upgrade your plan to try and improve it. Otherwise, if you can, you could unproxy I'd recommend complaining to your ISP though.

There have been many complaints over Cloudflare proxying slowing down things over the past year. The only remedy is to turn proxying off. Note that the problem may be only with certain Cloudflare servers, so not all your users experience the problem, only some of them. For me, Cloudflare proxying gives a random 20–60s delay in a small number of requests but only when I'm in Helsinki, Finland. In some other cities, it does not do that. Turning caching on or off doesn't resolve the problem.
