What am I missing about Oracle Cloud?
When I research about server hosts, I always see people recommending Oracle Cloud. I previously used Oracle Cloud for over a year for multiple 100+ modpacks with around 8 people, and the server would be great at the beggining, but eventually the TPS would start to tank and that would be the point of no return, it'd be unbearable to play. I had always thought I had a poorly optimized modpack, but after my friend offered to pay for a server host, immediately it became clear that it was Oracle Cloud causing the performance issues. Am I doing something wrong, am I missing something? I ask because I trying to host another server for my friends and as I research for a good hosing service I constantly see Oracle Cloud being brought up and people talking about their good experiences.

The CPUs suck
People talk about it because it’s free that’s it
The value proposition of free is infinity. :Kek:
^ that’s a very good point
Rain water is great. I would highly recommend it when you’re thirsty. You can hold a bucket outside when it rains and get plenty of it for completely free.
But it tastes like shit and will never compare to an ice cold beer or classic coke
You also have to deal with shit like this https://discord.com/channels/348681414260293634/1323497862381961266 :kek:
