Installer won't recognize SSD

I purchased a Trigkey AMD mini pc 5800H, I'm trying to install Bazzite on an SSD that's attached to the PCIe for optional 2.5" drive. The installer just won't show it as a choice to install on. I have flashed it with bazzite on the SSD itself thinking it would be like other things I've used like batocera or retropie etc and install itself on the drive it's been flashed to. However, no matter what I seem to do, it will not show up as a drive in the installer. It does show up as a drive within windows.

I have the same pc and was having the same issue. I resolved it by using the kde partition manager to create a gpt partition in the drive. (Select your new ssd or hdd, click “Device”> “new partition table”, then select gpt when prompted, then “okay” to wipe the drive, then “apply”) restart your pc and then in storage settings in steam you can format the drive (menu>settings>storage, select your new drive, controller “y” to format, accept that it will wipe the drive, wait for the loading circle to be done, then restart pc again) once you have restarted for a second time the drive should be ready to go for steam then when you go to download you can choose which drive to download to
