Boot-Like Shoe Recommendations

I think I’m moving beyond sneakers. The ones I wear last 6 months and I’m tired of that life. I think I’m gonna move into wearing more stuff like this which is meant to last for several years at least. Pictured is an LL Bean shoe that kinda emulates what I want, but not quite… curious if anyone has recs? For reference I also have a pair of Quoddy’s which I like but they’re not great for half the year here in Minnesota when it gets wet/cold, and I have some Timberland Earthkeeper boots. I adore how they look but I do want something much lower (so a shoe, not a boot) Price ceiling is $200ish ideally but I’m open to recs that cost more.

Could maybe look at the Jim Green Shoellie range. Not sure what the water resistance is like on the stock leathers, but you could probably reach out and ask about custom options and still click in under $200. https://jimgreenfootwear.com/product-category/all/velliesnshoes/

i recomend klemans, but they run a little narrow, and if ur toes are tall it will feel weird

I’m sold on these but can’t decide which size to get. I emailed Kleman my measurements and they rec’d going a size down per usual but I also have wide feet. I’ve never felt like my feet were too tight width-wise before though, fwiw. I want to avoid buying two and returning one. Do you have a suggestion?

we have the exact same foot measurements. 45 was too small, 46 was a tiny tiny bit cramped at the toe, 47 my foot was sliding around in

This is super helpful to know, thanks! Overall would you rather break in 46 or suffer 47?

oops i ment 46 was too small, 47 was a tiny bit cramped, and 48 was sliding a little. i’m sticking with the 48s bc i use orthotics, which counteract the sliding
