Washing SLP D02s

Does anyone have recommendations for washing SLP D02s with the leather patch? I intend on cold washing them alongside the rest of my jeans and hang drying but anything specific that should be done for the leather?

those look pretty solid, you should be good, can always run on delicate alone or hand wash if you really want to be sure.

if you really want, you can rub some leather moisturizer into it from time to time but I wouldn't worry about it its just a pain to avoid getting it on the pant

Might just stick some bick4 or whatever I have on hand on it

Wash inside out on a low spin cycle at low temperature (basically the instructions for making all clothes last longer).

yep that’s the plan inside a garment bag

I’ve owned like 20 pairs of d02s and fwiw that patch has fallen off of almost all of them, gentle washing or not. They’re really not sewn on there in a very sturdy fashion. Just wash em like normal jeans, it’s what they were made for.

Oh wow it’s crazy to see you in here, I’ve used quite a few posts of yours as inspiration, thank you for the insight 🙏

Hell yeah! Def dressing differently these days, but it’s cool to hear some of those old SLP fits are still helping folks out lol 🫡
