Removing Windows from Dual Boot on ASUS ROG Ally
I have a dual boot setup on my ASUS ROG Ally with Windows/Bazzite. How can I remove Windows and keep only Bazzite?

Simple: Any live distro environment (Gparted Live is very small and simple) and then delete the Microsoft partitions and resize the btrfs partition
Warning: There is a risk of loss of data, but its small
The biggest risk of loss of data is due to you likely needing to reorder the partitions

From Bazzite:
1) Install Fedora Media Writer Flatpak: https://flathub.org/apps/org.fedoraproject.MediaWriter
2) Download the GParted Live .iso https://downloads.sourceforge.net/gparted/gparted-live-1.6.0-10-amd64.iso
3) Use Fedora Media Writer to load the .iso on the usb stick. (Second option in Media Writer)
Flathub - Apps for Linux
Install Fedora Media Writer on Linux | Flathub
A tool to create a live USB drive with an edition of Fedora
Download gparted-live-1.6.0-10-amd64.iso (GParted)
A partition editor to graphically manage disk partitions
4) Boot from that USB stick and use the partition manager to delete the Windows partitions (including the Windows EFI partition). Make sure you don't accidentally delete the one Bazzite uses. And then reorder partitions so that you can extend the Btrfs partition.
If you want to fully reinstall and use all space for Bazzite: Just reinstall Bazzite. @Kuquitag
And reclaim all available space during the setup screen
You could also easily use kde partiom manager/gnome disks to simply reformat the windows partition(s)
If you don't want to reinstall bazzite
But you would have a split drive and would have to set up the reformatted partition to auto mount at boot.
The guy asked earlier in another chat whether he could just reinstall Bazzite
Ok. Was just offering alternative solution. Probably would be best overall to reinstall. But configuring everything again can be a pain depending on the setup 😄
you can still use the partition manager method and if it works, it works
just a matter of writing an iso t usb, boot it, and reordering some partitions and extending btrfs
its best done from a live environment because there will be no mounted partitions
