As I was gaming half of my keyboard LEDs turned red and only half the keyboard works at a time; whichever one has direct connection works - this is the nullbits snap keyboard.
Curious on troubleshooting methods

I’ll check with a multi matter but I’m never sure what I’m looking for with a multi meter
Now only the right side works, whereas before only the one with the power or master side worked

This was my first action, didn’t end up helping - but what started happening is it would enter flash mode every time I plugged it in
Will take a look at this, thank you
So the right side of the keyboard works
So the left side of the keyboard is constantly hitting F5
most likely a bridge on f5
Half of the keyboard not connected to the other side, and plugged in directly
When connected via the 3.5mm connector, the right side still functions like normal
the otherside doesn't display OLED, but the white light on the usb C lights up for a second before disappearing
Now when power is connected to the left side of the keyboard with the 3.5mm connected as well. OLED turns on for the left side but not the right side.
(ignore where print screen worked that was from a seperate keyboard)
The LEDS on the left side are not functioning, and the right side is red
so going to reflow the leds
Goddamn it, didn't fix anything
same issues
same red lights
Rotary encoder also works

Got all the LEDs working now, expect one on the right side
so Fixxing that
Tested all the pins on the MCU and they were good
No countinuity between pin 10 and every other pin on the IC
Swapped the MCU and issues remained the same
Tested all the diodes and they are all working, tested the capictors and they are working, and the resistors
Been using Claude to slowly figure out what to test, fed it all the documents for troubleshooting - still haven't figured out what is going on
Im giving up, it's been aroudn 4-5hrs of troubleshooting and I feel like I am not ccloser to an answer

Yea, using AI I figured all this out by getting it to walk me through everything and everything seemed to beep at the right times and show the right things
Oh man I had this issue the during my initial build
