when adding a @ root record it always says there is already one but i can't see it (A)

it'd show as your full zone/site name, like example.com. You can add more then one A record though, so it's probably complaining about a CNAME already existing or an existing A record matching the same name/target ip

okay, thanks. so i would like to link my vercel app to my domain it's on cloudflare but when it told me this Set the following record on your DNS provider to continue: Type A Name @ Value 76.76.21.21 i was kind alost because i didn't find a @ record and i cannot make one

@ is just an alias for your domain name, the conflicting record name would show as your zone/domain name, like "example.com"
