Bluetooth Controller Lag on Bazzite

I recently installed Bazzite on my Beelink SER8 with an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor, and I'm experiencing significant input lag with my two Bluetooth controllers, the Genesis Mangan 400. Interestingly, this lag does not occur when I use the controllers on a Windows PC. When I switch to wired controllers, everything works perfectly. Additionally, my Bluetooth controllers have two modes: Xbox and Switch. In Xbox mode, the "Home" button is unresponsive, while in Switch mode, it works but the analog sticks are less accurate. Could you please provide some suggestions on which drivers I should install or what settings I should adjust to improve the performance and reduce the lag? Thank you!

you will not be able to install drivers yourself under Bazzite what is the make/model of your bluetooth adapter/controller?

Currently I am not in the same city as the device, inside the spec page it says just:
WiFi 6 (Intel AX200)
Bluetooth 5.2
WiFi 6 (Intel AX200)
Bluetooth 5.2
I will try finding more info regarding the make/model inside the internet

That's double odd Intel wifi/bluetooth is the single best supported hardware on Linux I am using Intel AX210 on 3 laptops and my desktop No bluetooth issues on any of them

Maybe the BT controllers aren't optimized to be used inside Linux, on PC they work perfectly fine

no clue there, I have multiple first and third party controllers Switch Pro, Xbox, PS5, PS4 no delay on any of them on Intel BT hardware

I think I've read somewhere in reddit that the speed of the bluethooth signal/frequency inside Bazzite can be adjusted, but I've lost that thread, someone mentioned that his values were kind of off

it cannot there's nothing to adjust, there's no alternative driver, your hardware is known to be 100% functional with no tweaking

Ah alright, I guess I might have misread what was written in the thread, thanks for the help though

Last question, does bazzite have some options for balanced/performance mode, if yes where/how can I switch to performance mode

Yes, you can switch in GNOME/KDE Balanced is recommended on modern CPUs which is the default

Alright, I will check if switching from one to the other will have any effect once I have access to the device, thanks for the fast response! 🙂

I will just note that none of my plethora of Bluetooth controllers have any issues and I'm using old USB dongles on everything except laptop, handheld and htpc Well except 1 pre production controller that has a firmware bug 🙃 but I don't count that

I had the same issue until I realized that my wifi was connected to 2.4ghz and once I switched over to the 5ghz connection my lag disappeared.
