whats the best way to install adb?
hey i'm a body builder and i need to install adb on my install. i was thinking about this while getting in some reps at the gym earlier (leg day) and i realized that adb isn't gonna be available as a flatpak since its command line. this leads me to my question: is there an easy way for a huge dude like me to install adb? thank you. much love.πͺ πͺ

Distrobox
You can use any distro you like as the host
thank you much kyle. that was so quick and easy that i'm going to put in an hour of extra reps this evening. then i will come home and eat multiple chicken breasts for protein. from there, i will continue to learn about bazzite
bros just to follow up i also had to create the distrobox with a few special arguments and i had to create a udev rule
i mostly followed the instructions here: https://dev.to/archerallstars/running-adb-in-a-rootless-podman-distrobox-container-2kap
i did opt to create a new udev rule file instead of editing the existing
51-android.rules
thanks again bros.DEV Community
Running adb in a rootless Podman Distrobox container
adb stands for Android Debug Bridge. It's a part of SDK Platform Tools, which is bundled with Android...
That rule should be pre-installed, but the rest of it is totally valid
Glad you got it
Off topic, but I just recently flashed two Pixel 9s with GraoheneOS web-installer with Un-Googled-Chromium.
0 issues.
So I assume that was the android rules working π³.
