transparency in Ghostty
how do I make Ghostty window transparent?
Solution:Jump to solution
solved by restarting the terminal entirely, hotreload doesn't load the transparency apparently

the transparency i'm looking for:

set background-opacity somewhere between 0 and 1 in the config
i think it does blur by default unfortunately
its blur on the background colour rather than actual blurring of the bg
yeah it seems to be, hm
frustrating
yeah it also seems that the background color is hex with no alpha so it must be a specific choice by the devs or something like that

what i'm looking for: but setting set background-opacity to lower than 1 seems to set the blur on top of the bg-colour rather than make the background truly transparent.
dunno what changed but it works for me now:

drop your config
okay wait its working
