Overcoat recommendations please
Been looking for an overcoat for a while now, going for something that's a bit oversized and long enough to go below the knees like this Assembly New York one i saw here the other day. But given that i've never heard of the brand before i'm not sure about the quality.
Would Lemaire wrap coat be the best option? i'm just bit salty about it because i missed out on a sale as my size is no longer available.
I also like the the installation coat from mfpen and a few from ssstein but they are all sold out; and from a logistics point of view the latter feels like a hassle to purchase, as i am located in Canada.
My budget is around 2k CAD but could go a bit up if really necessary, but of course, lower the better. i am not opened to buying second hand.
The requirements are basically as follow:
- go beyond the knees
- in terms of color, i would prefer something dark but not black, like gray or brown
- on a more casual side, nothing too formal
My height is 181cm/5'11, 81kg/180lb, leaning towards a muscular build
Thanks in advance! Any recommendation is appreciated.

@Real Deal Smiles owns the assembly coat i think he likes it quite a lot
I tried on an installation coat at dsm and thought it was really nice. For me it looked less boxy than it does on their site, maybe because I'd sized down.
I have a Lemaire wrap coat and it's certainly the best coat I've ever owned.
