Game keeps crashing at random intervals.

I'm not sure if this is because of one of the mods we are running keeps failing or something is happening in the background. I will supply a crash log that comes up when this happens. Keep in mind i am not sure if the crash is happen because this very reason every time. but at least i will be one less thing that crashes the server if we figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in #help-using-mods. This ensures that your help request won't get buried and forgotten in other, non-help channels! If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs

It's a belt crash so I'm suspicious of underground belts or modular load balancers

That could very well be the case. We use both rather religiously. any idea of a possible fix? work around? outside of uninstalling of course. or even troubleshooting to replicate the crash and confirm it's one or the other?

First step is to work out which mod is causing the problem, second is to get the mods author involved They're usually able to work out the problem and put out a fix pretty quickly

I know Digby is load balancers. and i know Andre is underground belts. but to prove which one it is (or maybe ven both) .. beyond me.

Uninstall one, run the save for a while, if it doesn't crash that's probably the one

Sound idea, only uninstalling one or the other would dramatically break the factory. XD i suppose i could try to remove the underground belts and work out some sort of work around for that.. but the balanacers? i would have no idea how to replace them.

That's the only option unfortunately, the code which is crashing is core game code, so nobody will be able to tell which is causing it

fek In anycase. Thanks a heap for all your help and feedback. i apprecaite the hell out of you. maybe ill start with the belts and see where that goes?

Sounds sensible! Both authors are here and happy to be pinged with issues, so tag them in this thread if you work it out 👍

Thanks! so far, I have no -Removed- Underground belts. But i have signifficaly reduced the number of underground belts being used. everything is running and no crash yet. but it has not been that long.
