Can you try taking (a-b)=x then equate 2x²+3x= elements of B set?

x cant be 1 if ur saying x = (a,b) and here they are asking number of elements in the resultant set do u know that and if u hv time plz do make cases and solve it will clear ur doubt

That means (a-b)=1 , you'll find such expressions in A×A x≠(a,b) (a,b) belongs to A×A and x is just a substitution

that was the first and only case i calculated with 2(a-b)²+3(a-b)=0, tumhe 5 cases karne k baad x ka sirf do integral values bane?
