Battery shown in SteamOS as Full and charging but is not. Also not in MangoHud or Icon.
The little icon shows a decreasing battery but still features a charge icon. My Rog Ally is not charging. MangoHud has the correct battery charge.
This happened suddenly, was working perfectly fine before. Restarts and SteamOS updates did nothing about it.

This seems to be the case for MangoHud too
No connection but MangoHud shows the power as connected and at 100%
Must correct myself: MangoHud recognized the battery as discharging but SteamOS/SteamUI does not
There you see the difference. This is remote play. Hence the minimal battery usage.
Fastfetch does also show AC connected falsely
upower -d also reports power supply: yes
Have you found any updates in your findings on this one? I’ve ran into the same issue here with a fresh install of Bazzite in my Lenovo Legion Go.
