Higher end Japanese companies will often have super long inseams with the idea being you hem them when you buy them, but thats way out of your budget

36 length is a weird way to say it, idk if he means inseam or just some “length”

i'd assume it's inseam, you usually see things listed as 36W x 36L
but also if they're baggy you might not be wearing them at your natural waist
Yeah Im a 35 inseam and its a struggle
High waisted stuff tends to have more room for maneuver in my experience
