Barbour Ashby Fitment?

One more question then I’m done for a while I promise. I’ve been furiously shopping for a jacket for probably a month now. As winter set in I realized I cleaned out several I didn’t like, leaving me with the single denim jacket you may have seen me wearing. This was intentional, but also left me looking for another winter option when I wanted to wear something less obvious. But I digress. Found this at Nordstrom Rack and I love the color, but doesn’t fit right? Or should I try a size up? It’s a Barbour Ashby as the title suggests. I’m currently at the gym because whooo boy was it enough money that I had to think about it instead of impulse buying.

fit looks good to me but it would help to see a pic from straight on with arms at your sides. You may also want to try a size up if you plan on wearing a thicker sweater underneath or whatever

I live in SoCal, so even this feels like too much jacket. At most I’d be wearing a tee and a thin sweater or flannel. I was wearing a thick brushed long sleeve in this photo. I can certainly pop back over and try an XL on after the gym. The first pic is pretty close to my arms at my side, right? I was relaxed there, just had to have the other arm up.

I think either could work but I’d lean towards the L Seems like it’s a good fit with a thin layer under and works better with the slimmer pants

I fully agree. Since I don’t plan on bundling up, the Large is the better fit of the two. Still. I think ultimately I decided to pass. I didn’t like it well enough to drop the money on it. But I’m still pondering it so it’s not entirely off the table.
