>manualmove
SMM queries the APIs of the EPIC and Steam game store apps to determine where your game is. If you moved its location after installation manually, your installer client will not know where it is. You will need to reinstall your game through your store client so that it is in a known location. This will not affect your saves.
But I placed it on an seperate ssd like a portable one what can I do?
Either Steam or Epic client must be aware of the new location
Is there literally no manual method?
Can you upload your FactoryGame.log?
>factorygame.log
Hit windows + r . Enter
%localappdata%/FactoryGame/Saved/Logs
in the opened box then click on Ok. That will open a folder, send the file named FactoryGame.log
from therecan't find it
never played on this pc b4
oh, then just run the game once
and try again
Still cant find man what’s wrong
>debug follow the steps and send the zip here
We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in #help-using-mods. This ensures that your help request won't get buried and forgotten in other, non-help channels!
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs
if you have it through epic or steam, use the client to install the game to the disk you want it on. that's all it takes
