Images not loading after bad backup applied
To explain : I just lost my disk, luckily I had an incremental backup
I restored the said backup, but weirdly enough, the last images are broken (doesn't exist in my backup but still exist on the website in the database, I guess...)
How can I remove them from the database then resync ?

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.here is the logs I could see (I think it's related tho)
Of course I tried regenerating the thumbnails but... it doesn't work neither
(and it appears as synced on my phone 👀 )

to explain too, I saw that the disk burnt like 5 days ago
it burnt 10 days before (backups fail from december 1st)
and my issue is starting at this date, until december 13th, when I saw the issue and I shutted down the server
But it's quite random, sometimes images have been added, sometimes nope
update: I've seen images trying to load, completely blurred but it looked like the images
after reloading the page, it appears back as broken
looks like something is wrong with your hard drive/mount point
:dead_fall: The goat is answering me
I thought too. But :
(first it would be the 4th drive within 3 days, please make it stop)
Second, it's only about the pictures while the old drive wasn't available anymore
I don't know how you setup your drive, but it seems like the server cannot find the files where it expects the files to be present
yessss
but when I checked the path of a random file the server complains about :
French error but to translate :
no such file or directory
so it's not a perm error, the file is just... not here (anyway the drive is under 777, I know it's really bad but at least it works 🥹 )
I don't really know how immich works deep inside but here is my guess :
- the server was running, he received the data, he put it in the db
- photos didn't go anywhere
Edit : I forgot to say that I used the last database version (december 10th when I pulled it out for save, while the server had the issue since december 1st...)
Maybe here is the issue
