Unable to add/remove applications via Snap

Hey folks I'm having an issue with snap. It was working fine for app installation (via CLI and via Discover) when one day, suddenly, it stopped. I can't install, uninstall, anything, I just get an error. I've done some digging online but couldn't find a solution that worked. Any pointers?
error: system does not fully support snapd: cannot mount squashfs image using "squashfs": -----
mount: /tmp/syscheck-mountpoint-2499515947: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
/dev/loop0, missing codepage or helper program, or other error.

dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.

Snap is unsupported. Use of snap is at your own risk

Oh interesting, I didn't realize. I thought it had come with the OS because Snap packages were available in Discover, but I must've installed it at some point.

Snap messes up Bazzite in a weird way that even removing it won’t fully remove it. The general instruction is to reformat and reinstall the OS
