vintage/secondhand shopping in Paris
Going to paris tomorrow. Is it worth trying to vintage and secondhand shop or have the prices been scalped to shit? either way, any recommendations for places to check out?

Check out the Lemaire flagship in le marais whatever else you do
If centre pompidou is still open you need to go. It’s about to close for five years.
that is way outside of my price range :( and also not vintage/secondhand

It’s just a cool place to visit in Paris you don’t have to buy anything
oh cool
Le Marais is still a great neighborhood to walk around for clothing and fashion. Not everything will be super expensive.
Also some great movie theaters if you happen to speak French
I saw Playtime there!
i’m sorry i forgot how to speak french:( only one in my family who can’t anymore
but i am in paris now
that's cool, have a good time
go watch a movie in a language you don't understand. i really enjoy doing that actually.
i’m planning on seeing some theater
and having my sister translate or whatever
See some Ionesco
They do Ionesco in Le Marais with English subtitles projected actually
I went with a friend who couldn’t speak French to one of those showings
To see La Leçon

thank you so much!
if anyone sees this thread in the future, i recommend royalcheese. cool store nice people
i somehow didn’t process this. i’m a huge ionesco and just saw bald sop and lecon, already being my number 2 and 3 fav plays lol
Hell yeah
I love Ionesco! When I was learning French I read a lot of his plays.
ionesco got me into absurdist plays, literally all the plays i’ve written are absurdist with a huge bald sop influence
