Trying to transfer domain from Turbify to Cloudflare. Infuriating issue at hand.
My domain is unlocked through turbify, and I have the transfer code. I added my domain to the account. However, it's telling me there's no domains available for transfer. I can see the domain in my dashboard. Super annoying. I can provide images and further information if requested.

is the domain fully active in cf? what's the domain name?
new to cf, could you elaborate on what "fully active" means?
domain is bicyclesplusma.com
it also keeps disappearing from out dashboard but it comes back?
it'd show as "Active" in top while under the domain in CF, not "Pending" or anything else
we paid for the pro subscription but it feels disapearing
Yea that domain isn't using Cloudlfare nameservers
Name Server: ns1.turbify.com Name Server: ns2.turbify.comHave to switch the nameservers at your current registrar to Cloudflare, get it showing as Active, and then you can transfer registrar to cf
so i need to go into my turbify domain control panel and change the name servers to the cf ones?
Yes. Just make sure you have your DNS Records all setup in Cloudflare. It tries to auto-import to be helpful but it may miss some
how might i make sure that it's all set before i initate the transfer?
under your website in the Cloudflare dashboard, DNS -> Records, make sure they all match whatever you have in Turboify
ok we'll do that
Magic link: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records
Most likely it was being removed because you never switched the nameservers over. You get 28 days to set it up/switch over nameservers before it deletes itself. You get 7 days if you switched over and then switched back
Depends what you mean by "Disappearing" tho
I mean i can go to my dashboard and see it there, then i can reload the page andn it tells me that i have no domains
reload again and it reappears
under the websites page? Do you have more then one account?
no only one account
how long does it take for the name server changes to roll over so i can initate the transfer
what tool did you use to find this information
It depends on your registrar and the com tld, and then for CF to update and see. Up to 48 hours, but usually only an hour or two
I just used whois linux utility, there's websites for whois too though
ICANN Lookup
The ICANN registration data lookup tool gives you the ability to look up the current registration data for domain names and Internet number resources.
cool
I am familiar with linux if that's easier
just
whois bicyclesplusma.com
will work, no ugly UIs eithersick
in windows now, is that an apt package or already in most distros
just testing now
all set. just waiting for cf to update everything
thanks for all the help
@Chaika thanks so much for all the help. transfer is underway currently
it is a package
whois
, but it is already preinstalled in a lot of images
