i have not a clue in the world what this could be.
Potential Causes and Fixes
1. Server Routing or Load Balancing Issues
Cause: The game might be switching servers or experiencing network instability during specific rounds (attackers/defenders), leading to inconsistent ping.
Fix:
Check your server region in Valorant’s settings and ensure it’s set to the closest, most stable server.
Go to Settings > General > Preferred Server and select the best one.
Use a VPN to force a stable connection to your preferred server (if applicable).
2. Network Congestion
Cause: Network congestion or background apps might be consuming bandwidth during certain times.
Fix:
Close all unnecessary apps or processes using bandwidth (e.g., streaming, downloads).
Restart your router to clear potential network congestion.
Use a wired connection (Ethernet) if you’re on Wi-Fi, as it’s more stable.
3. Game-Related Bugs
Cause: Certain game bugs or inconsistencies in Valorant might lead to such behavior.
Fix:
Report the issue to Riot Games through their support page.
Keep the game updated to ensure you have the latest bug fixes.
4. Device-Specific Issues
Cause: Hardware or software configurations on your device might interfere with stable connectivity.
Fix:
Update your network drivers.
Flush your DNS cache:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
Restart your PC.
Change your DNS server to a faster alternative (like Google’s 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1):
Go to Network and Internet Settings > Change adapter options > Properties for your network.
Find Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Properties, and manually set a DNS.
sorry if its a bit too long but those are potential fixes
