Does a same type mega need to be active in the raid or just be activated on home screen

so i am going to use mega slowbro for necrozma. Do i need to have the mega slowbro on the 6 pokemon raid lobby or is it ok if i just have the mega activated do i still get the same amount of candy or XLS?

I believe you can just have it active, you're not required to have him battling for equal rewards. Sorry If this was too late, but now you know for the future 😭 Wether the mega is fighting or not, you still get the reward boost
