Unique Whitelist/API Problem (I Quess)?
Hi I have a very unique problem. Googling it brought me here. Ive made a liddle Video showcasing the bug https://youtu.be/iqFCc4kLdmo. Its very inconsistent. U can see asking a person tf is going on cuz trying to whitelist brings the Server TPS down. I would just continue to whitelist people trough the file (that works without problems) but also every Plugin like TAB whitch constently checks for UUID kills the Server because of the problems connecting to the Minecraft API or IDK what it is. Someone got time to jump in a call? Im down to stream everything and show everything u need.
*Its not a Plugin thing (had no plugins on the server and still the same problem)
**I also allready switched Servers with my Serverhost but it only fixxed it for a day

as for the "player does not exist", I believe it's a vanilla bug. I had it happen like a month ago on a forge server

Well how did u get rid of it
We got it for nearly 2 Weeks now it doesnt go away from resetting
We simply just either turned off the whitelist and have them join, or you can manually add them to the whitelist.json file. You can get their uuid from a site like https://namemc.com and run
/whitelist reload after changing the whitelist.json fileyea that was my fix too but some plugins also got problems with that bug
and they jsut crash the server

yeah, only 1.20.1 and earlier should be affected
i rode another bug report also stating they are on 1.21.1
I mean, you can just hope the issue goes away
unless it's an issue with your server's networking
it couldnt be something with our domain right?
cuz our serverprovider even let us switch servers and that didnt fix it
nah, Minecraft's auth service APIs don't even see your server's domain at all
if other clients share the same IP abuse the API, you could be IP banned, but that shouldn't persist across multiple machines and your server host would have reports from other clients as well
