Game crashing

is there anyone else having this issue after the update ? my game goes from 500 fps to 1 fps then to 500 again and keeps crashing, the only fix i found was playing on windowed screen but its annoying, was looking for a fix for this, stuff i tried were AMD radeon fps limiter, same issue doesn't work, same thing with vsync ingame, i tried repairing the game files as well, so if theres anyone with the same issue or anyone knows a fix i'd like to know thanks
