Just look up gametests on yt
just buy 5 5600 trust me it not worth it to buy 5 5600x for 10% more performance.
you’re saying ryzen 5 5600x is better than ryzen 7 5700x?
i was thinking of getting ryzen 7 to be a teeny bit future proof
look at the fps counter at the right top corner
5 5600x with an 3060ti. for some reason it drops 100 fps while taking a screenshot
these were the settings
above 450 average, with bots
450-550 deathmatch
dont take exact numbers tho since it really changes depending on map etc etc.
but this should give you an idea
thats because you're basically tabbing out when u ss
and fps gets capped when u tab out
yep, also valorant is not really the best game to benchmark specs. But the 5600x is very capable of running your game smoothly.
it is an am4 tho
not really future proof
if you're going to splurge go all out.
going all out isn’t in the budget
Ryzen 7 is really great processor
I have a ryzen thread ripper myself which is a overkill for valorant
But I used to have a ryzen 5 and it worked perfectly
Ryzen 7 will be more then enough because it provides sufficient core count to run valorant the only other dependent is ur gpu
ryzen 7 is really worth it
yea i think ima go with the ryzen 7
What’s ur gpu
this my third time upgrading cpu cuz intel is so dog shit even though they cost more than any ryzen cpus
4060
TWINN
I got 4060 ti too best nvidia card for the price I got the 16gb one but 8 gb works u should be chilling for val
gpu isn’t the problem for val at all
just intel dog shit cpu
owh my bad , i thought you was saying 5 5600x or 5 5600 lol
5700X ISNT WORTH IMO
go to pc part picker, it will show you the best CPU to get for your GPU, to avoid bottlenecking, also provide it with your motherboard to ensure compabability
the 5700x and the 4060 have a 7% bottleneck, as the 5700 is deemed too weak for the 4060, causing an imbalance between the two, This wont cause any inconvenience directly though you will see worse results under stress
This is CPU based tasks (valorant)
11.6% bottleneck
on GPU intense tasks, it will do fine
but regardless at such a high spec you wont see any issue in game i dont think, aslong as your desired hz. isnt over 500 i'd say
but that's also not taking into consideration other limitations such as ram sticks, motherboard, software & other minor factors
I feel like this is too small of a bottleneck to actually matter in thy high end of a pc, unless you play 2024 games at 4k 120 fps it shouldn't even matter, or for rendering 3d stuff if you're into that
I would if you can find it get a Ryzen 7 5700X3D if you want to stay AM4 but if I were you I would get a Ryzen 5 7600X
it's more of a matter of "for the cost what am i getting" kind of thing
